Artist's Comments
Twilight was a G1/series 2 pony (when unicorns and pegasi were first introduced.) While she was not my fave unicorn, she was one of the prominent characters in the first MLP special, "Rescue from Midnight Castle." Where as Firefly came across as the brave pony, Twilight struck me as the "smart" pony, so I put her in a thoughtful pose and gave her a clever, blunt bob hair-do. She also had a special unicorn power where she could disappear and reappear if she wished hard enough. It didn't appear in that episode that any other unicorn could do that.
I have to point out that I'm perfectly aware that horse legs can't bend that way, but I thought the cartoony nature of the drawing justified such an outrageous cheat.
