I don't think she's fat, (not that there'd be anything wrong if she was) I thing she's just got a naturally curvy/compact build which is great! More shows need to give the characters different builds. (This does pose an interesting question though.... Can Kryptonians GET fat on earth? To my knowledge, Superman and Supergirl gain their powers from the earths sun, so if they just sat around all day and ate instead of fighting crime and lifting mountains would they put on pounds?)
I always thought of Babs being rather serious and Kara being the Pinkie (oh Timmy, your face is priceless) of the female girls of DC. Is this the version you felt was most comedic with their super-personas, Faust?
Why hasn't the "Super Best Friends Forever" become its own tv series yet, its light-hearted hummer makes it much better then other marvel (or DC or whatever) inspired superhero shows like Justice League, that takes themselves way more serious then they should, considering what they are wearing.
Like many others, I adore that this character has curves! It makes me feel better about myself now (I'm sure that sounds weird) and I know I would've appreciated it even more when I was a younger kid! It's kind of like how I wish I had had curvier shaped barbie dolls too. Seeing only skinny shapes can be a negative throughout the years! ;o;
I know right? I watched the eps of this show on YouTube and many people were getting at her weight going "Why is she fat?" and it got to me a lot (espically since I'm a bit chubby like) so when I saw that comment to the video of ep three, I went "She's not fat. She's normal." and that soon became the most thumbs up comment to that video. Boy, did that make my day.
What really caught my eye here is, compared to BG and WG, how SG seems more...curvy here, which makes a lovely break from the usual "Perfect Heroine" figure. I've yet to see any of the SBBF shorts so far (likely 'cause they've yet to air in my part of the globe), but going by the teasers available I'll keep my eyes peeled, you bet!
