I'm looking to get some more exposure for Galaxy Girls so I might get a booth at the San Diego Comicon in July. But I'm not so sure that it's the right venue for Milky Way. I mean, the only reason I'm considering it is that I'm more familiar with Comic Conventions than anything else. I've been going for years, first as a fan, then as a professional. I've done signings for Cartoon Network and have spoken on a few panels. Comicon's been growing like mad in recent years, becoming less and less about comics and more and more about media - animation, movies, toys, collectibles. And, encouragingly, more and more girls have been attending. In fact, last year a couple of my friends dressed as Pluto and Mars and got a lot of inquiries. But then again, at the heart of it all, Comicon is for dudes isn't it???
I don't know. What do you think??

I'd say go for it! I think it would be a great place to get some GG exposure! I know I'll definitely stop by the booth!
Comics are definitely shifting from being just a guy thing. I think having a Galaxy Girls booth at Comic Con is a great way to help that shift even more.

Hey, I'd say go for it. I think it's great to have more females take part of the convention. I would definitely check out the GG booth.
