
EDIT: Thanks for the info on reindeer gender-antler technicalities. I did learn this in my teens, but I just kind of enjoy drawing the deer as white-tails like I did as a kid. I know it's incorrect, but the nostalgia factor is more fun for me. Merry Christmas fellow biology nerds!
When I was would little, my obsessive love for Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer would inspire me to draw Santa's eight reindeer to string together for Christmas decorations around the house. Even as a kid, I wanted some of the reindeer to be girls (it only seemed fair) and Dancer, Vixen and Cupid where always featured without antlers to show Santa didn't discriminate against the does!

To be honest, though, I never watched the Rankin-Bass special of "Rudolph" all that much growing up. That Abominable Snowman scared the crap out of me whenever he showed up.
