I am not the creator of Powerpuff Girls......or Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. I just worked on them. Those shows were created by Craig McCracken, who happens to be my husband, so I can see how people might get confused.
I know most of you know that, but it's seems a lot of people are getting that mixed up.

Q:  How can I get a job in animation?
The absolute best thing you can do to get into animation as a career is to go to art school.  Not only will you learn how to draw and how to SEE, you will meet people, students and teachers alike, who will give you new perspectives and will likely be the sources of your future jobs.  (My first job came from one of my teachers.)
There are several schools that have fantastic animation programs that cover all facets of the atr form.  Schools like the one I attended, CALIFORNIA INSTITUTE OF THE ARTS, will teach you animation (2D and 3D,) character design, storyboarding, bac

The End of 2011Well look at this. End of 2011. Three words sum up this whole year.

Geeze. Who of thought. A year ago I would have called myself crazy and now here we are. There have been ups and downs. Lots of artwork was made.

Second I must thank Lauren Faust :iconfyre-flye: and Studio B. Without her and the team at Studio B, none of this would've happen. She did something not many could do: Revitalized a franchise that is more than a 30 minute commercial to sell toys. She made something so awesome that everyone can enjoy it. So thank you for everything Lauren and Studio B many times over.

How Bionicle Should Have Ended.No, this is not a journal bitching about it ending and how much I hate Hero Factory. I love Hero Factory. But anyway, the only thing that bothered me about Bionicle ending was what they did with the stars. They were just shitty little matoran sized sets that were useless in terms of pieces, and to be honest were just not a very good way to go out. What I think they should have done, was make all the stars titans. Titan tahu, titan Takanuva, titan gresh, etc. Each set, would come with the actual titan build, but would also come with an extra instruction booklet, containing the instructions to a body part of giant robot Mata Nui. Tahu would come with the head, Takanuva the body, Gresh an arm, Nektan an Arm, Skrall a leg, and rahkshi a leg. I came up with this with Maxus, so yeah, Fun fun fun. THis needs to be Cuuso'd. What do you think?

Queens of the MotherF***ing Stone Age!Don't argue, just watch this concert if you like rock music. Yes its long, but its so filled with awesome that its worth it. I recommend watching the second concert to, if you can hang that long. If you don't instantly love this band after you watch at least the first concert you have no appreciation for rock music and should have your head examined. XD

EDIT:  Thanks for the info on reindeer gender-antler technicalities.  I did learn this in my teens, but I just kind of enjoy drawing the deer as white-tails like I did as a kid.  I know it's incorrect, but the nostalgia factor is more fun for me.  Merry Christmas fellow biology nerds!

When I was would little, my obsessive love for Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer would inspire me to draw Santa's eight reindeer to string together for Christmas decorations around the house.  Even as a kid, I wanted some of the reindeer to be girls (it only seemed fair) and Dancer, Vixen and Cupid where always featured without antlers to show Santa didn't discriminate against the does!

So here's sweet-natured Cupid to wish you Happy Holidays!  Have a wonderful day, everyone!

That's a cute idea and a cute picture. I can't help but wonder what you think of Bambi. I really loved that film growing up, but I might want to watch it again to see how it holds up. I know that Osamu Tezuka, the "God Of Manga," watched that one pretty extensively.

To be honest, though, I never watched the Rankin-Bass special of "Rudolph" all that much growing up. That Abominable Snowman scared the crap out of me whenever he showed up.
