Plus, new casting calls and an art contest! Please read this blog update from our Kickstarter page below....
***please note! Unless specified, the casting calls are looking for anyone who considers themselves a brony whether they are male OR female!!***
We are the 7th most funded film of all time on Kickstarter. We are climbing to the top with 6 days to go. Thank you everyone!
So what's the next goal? International. Once we get to $270k, we'll be adding a big trip to the itinerary. We'll film at the Galacon Convention in Stuttgart, Germany on August 11 & 12th and BUCK BronyUKCon in Manchester, England on August 18th and 19th .
== CASTING CALL ==
We are looking for MLP fans that fit these descriptions. If one of these sounds like you, please email your story, your name, phone number, city you live in and a picture to info@bronydoc.com
Military Bronies who are living in Arizona specifically.
A parent and son in his 20's who are both fans and have bonded over MLP.
An adult Brony who has Aspergers, Autism or other syndrome or disorder and has been helped by the show.
Bronies living in the Southern California area with interesting lives and stories to tell.
It is important to note, this is just one of a few rounds of casting. Because we are looking for specific stories does not mean we have excluded others. We have received lots of emails and already have stories we don't need to cast for. We are also still considering all stories already sent to us.
== ART CONTEST ==
We are running a prizes.org contest looking for one piece of art that will be issued as a limited edition print for contributors to the Kickstarter campaign.
The winner will receive a $500 cash price and have an opportunity to meet Tara Strong, Lauren Faust and John de Lancie at BronyCon.
The contest starts soon at:

I have Asperger's, live in Southern California, and definitely have interesting stories to tell....
I think you might need to define how this show has been helpful to them. If you're talking in terms of developing social skills, I doubt it has affected them positively.
Based on what I've observed on here and in other places on the 'net, Bronies with such disorders don't seem to benefit from using this cartoon as their compfy. They appear to become more unsocial and defensive when faced with criticism regarding their behaviour or drawings. They will often retort with the "I have aspergers/autism/other disorder, I can't help it!" and effectively deny that they're capable of taking any responsibility for themselves.
